I'm back! So check this out...I decided to give you guys a tour of my home studio setup. Not only is this my first time doing a room tour, but it's also my first vlog ever. I may or may not sound like a zombie, so bare with me. If you have any questions related to my home production studio, please leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. Thanks!
HOME STUDIO TOUR 2014 | Oscar Oceguera
Awesome studio, Oscar. I was wondering, do you think a rug is necessary to put on the floor to help with some of the reflections that may bounce off of it? Also, what are the absorption coefficients of the treatments you are selling? Thanks for the post and any feedback.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on several things. If your room has enough acoustic treatment to reach a low reverberation time across the frequency spectrum, a rug is probably not necessary. I have substituted the rug with an acoustic panel hanging from the ceiling, aka acoustical cloud panel. The insulation type inside my panels are Owens Corning 703, which the coefficients are:

125 Hz - 0.17
250 Hz - 0.86
500 Hz - 1.14
